Ride with GPS May Challenge, from Colnago Gran Fondo National Series
Can you complete the combined distance of all 8 Gran, Medio, or Piccolo routes of 2021 Colnago Gran Fondo National Series in one month? To complete one of the three Ride with GPS May Challenge options you need to log the combined mileage of all 8 routes between May 1 and May 31, 2021. You can do it in dozens of shorter rides or a handful of big rides, or any combination in between. Both indoor and outdoor rides count, so long as they are logged in your Ride with GPS account.
Ride with GPS May Challenge Options:
Gran Route Challenge: Ride 766 miles in May
Medio Route Challenge: Ride 494 miles in May
Piccolo Route Challenge: Ride 238 mile in May
As you accumulate miles you will achieve milestones every time you reach the distance of the next route in the Series. And for each milestone you reach, you will receive another ticket into the raffle for great prizes from our sponsors. The more miles you ride, the greater your chances of winning!

ABOUT Gran Fondo National Series EVENTS
A Gran Fondo is a cycling challenge that takes bicycle racing to the next level. Part personal challenge, part serious competition, the Colnago Gran Fondo National Series courses lead riders through country roads with challenging climbs and incredible scenery.
Challenging Courses
Courses are offered in lengths of ~30, ~60, and ~100 miles so participants can take part in a distance that matches their goals and ability.
Timed Segments
There is no start to finish time as in traditional racing formats, but rather only time sections count toward a rider's competition time.
Chip Timing
Each rider is assigned an electronic timing-chip to keep track of their progress throughout the course and to allow riders to compete for best time through highlighted sections of the course.
Fun for Everyone
With timed segments and 3 course options you can take your time between race sections, stop at the aid stations, and regroup to enjoy the ride with your friend and teammates.
Stocked Aid Stations
Fuel up and stay hydrated with a wide selection of foods. Aid stations also have bathrooms.
Mechanical Support
Bikes occasionally break down, so we have professional mechanics out on course.
Finish Line Party
At the finish you’ll be greeted with an award, a hot meal and cold adult beverage or soft drink, live music, and good friends.
Prize Raffle
All riders are eligible to win valuable raffle prizes from Series sponsors. It’s definitely worth sticking around for!
