RACE E-FONDOS ON ROUVY

The fifth annual E-Fondo Series from Gran Fondo National Series features six events and leverages the Rouvy’s proven e-sports platform to recreate SUAREZ Gran Fondo National Series’ timed-segment competition format in a virtual environment.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Sign up or log in to your Rouvy account online or on your mobile device.

2. Register on the form below so we can sync your results with who you are.

3. Select the E-Fondo you want to participate in. Scroll down for calendar.

4. Review the RoadBook to find course details and other important information

5. On the day of the event, log in to Rouvy, set up your bike, and pair your devices. The starting corral will open 10 minutes prior to the start time.

How to Win 

Timed Segments Used for Scoring

There are multiple timed segments in each route used for the E-Fondo Series, with the exception of Bogus Basin E-Fondo, which is a single timed-segment hillclimb. A rider’s standings are based on the cumulative time through all timed segments, fastest cumulative time wins. Start-to-finish time plays not role in this competition format. Athletes of all ages will compete simultaneously and results will be reported by sex (Male/Female) and age group (10-year age groups, i.e., 23-34, 35-44, 45-54, etc.).

Immediate results will show start-to-finish times and standings. THESE ARE NOT VALID FOR THE SERIES. Results based on timed segments will be published here within 48 hours of the finish.

We need your registration information so we can sync your E-Fondo results with our qualification database. After filling out the form below, scroll down to the start time links, choose your event, and click on the link, which will open on the Rouvy website on your mobile device or computer. Log in to and click the + button to sign up for an event.

E-FONDO SERIES EVENT SCHEDULE

The SUAREZ Gran Fondo National Series presents the schedule for the 6-event E-Fondo Series, presented by Wahoo. The fifth-annual e-sports cycling competition features timed segments and Rouvy’s virtual platform to recreate the Series’ competition format. The E-Fondo Series will run from January 19, 2025 through February 23, 2025 with multiple opportunities for riders to compete and the opportunity to qualify for the 2025 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships event in Frederick, Maryland on September 14, 2025.

The E-Fondo Series, p/b Wahoo is being run in addition to the full calendar of SUAREZ Gran Fondo National Series outdoor events.

Registration, Points, and #GFNATS Qualification

E-Fondo Series Points Competition

Riders must complete at least four of the six E-Fondo Series events to be included in the E-Fondo Series Points Competition. A rider’s position in the points series will be based on their four best event results. For instance, a rider who finishes third, first, 14th, ninth, and 22nd across five events would score 27 points (3 + 1 + 9 + 14 = 27). See results at https://www.granfondonationalseries.com/results

E-Fondo Series Age Groups for individual events and the points competition are as follows:

- Under 23
- 24-34
- 35-44
- 45-54
- 55-64
- 65-70
- 70+

To Qualify for USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships via E-Fondo Series

To compete in the 2025 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships event, riders must qualify for a starting slot, In addition to qualifying through in-real life events, riders can qualify through E-Fondo Series points. Qualifications slots will be awarded based on rider’s placement in the E-Fondo Series Points Competition. See above for points competition scoring.

To qualify, a rider must achieve one of the results below:

• TOP 15% IN POINTS COMPETITION
  Finish in the E-Fondo Series Points Competition in your age group, based on the number of starters in that age group

• COMPLETE 4+ E-FONDO EVENTS
  Complete four (4) or more E-Fondo Series events
